From a Tiny Water Spot to a Large Amount of Storm Damage in Rutherford Home

When the homeowner in this Rutherford property noticed a couple of smallish water stains on the kitchen ceiling, he had no idea how big of a storm damage issue he had. SERVPRO technicians scoped the ceiling using their detection equipment and found the widescale seepage of the water. The issue on the roof was found and tarped to inhibit any further entry of water during the cleanup. The techs cut away the wet ceiling as it was beginning to sag and set up equipment to dry the loss area rapidly. As seen in the After Photo, the ceiling has a clean-cut ready for repair, and the items in the kitchen did not require moving and the disruption to the home got limited during the mitigation efforts.
